Catch up!

So much has happened in the last week! Here's a quick update since my sweet Greyson will probably be waking up soon:

Stephen and I went on a great date last week while my mom watched Greyson... she loves her time with him and almost begged us to go on a date and leave him with her, haha.  We went to a glassblowing studio and made ornaments (living social deal!), it was a really unique and fun experience

We couldn't pass up some special candies at a shop next door!

Shelley came to visit! It was so good to see her and we had a great time catching up, shopping, getting pedicures, and just looking at and holding Greyson.  I am thankful for such good friends and people in my life!  I wish we had taken more pictures and only got the camera out Saturday night to get a quick picture before she left early Sunday morning.

Stephen left Monday for Lincoln, NE where he's attending and presenting at a conference where the top youth leaders are going to discuss how to keep caucasian youth in the church.  I'm so proud of him, he's awesome - but I'm here alone with baby for a few days... yesterday went really well but today has been more of a challenge.  He's had a tummy ache, the swing is out of batteries and our rechargeables aren't working, and it took 2 hours to get him to sleep.  Grey's starting to do some new things though - lately he's been smiling more, more alert and likes to look around, stares at faces, and he has real tears.  They're pretty sad too when combined with a pitiful cry and frown.  I've been working on finishing up the nursery with hanging decorations.  It's kept me busy with Stephen being gone!  Here are some pictures from the last week.

Thanks Aunt Steph for the mobile!

Pinterest inspired idea, it's added a lot of color to the room!

He looked at the cow for about 5 minutes! It has a mirror on it and he was pretty intrigued.
Bathing beauty ;) he loves his baths and would probably be content to stay there all day
