3 month pics

Today was good.  Baby Grey slept 3 1/2 hours which was such a surprise and I got so much done in the meantime.  We were out late last night and he didn't nap well yesterday so I guess it all caught up with him.  I've been behind in taking 3 month pictures of him and decided it was a must today.  It was a little difficult since he likes to smile at me and not the camera so it took some tricking and quick maneuvers to get the smiles in the pictures.  He's sweet though, smiles or not.  Tomorrow is his baby dedication and Elder Moyer is coming, I think he may have dedicated me as a baby... pretty cool. (OK, I double checked on that and it Moyer did not dedicate me... but it seems I've known him that long, :)

(this is my favorite, I'm so bummed it's blurry)

"oh mom, enough pictures already!"

Working Woman

I know I've been missing from my blog for a few weeks now so I'm back to catch up.  Stephen is in OKC this evening speaking for a graduation and Grey is in bed sweetly sleeping.  There is a nice thunderstorm outside and it's the perfect setting for my quiet evening alone.  In the last few weeks I started back to work.  I really enjoy my time at work and I enjoy being home with Greyson and for the most part it's been a pretty smooth transition except for a few rough nights that led to me to be a working zombie the next day.  I feel comfortable with him being at home with dad, Melissa, or Nana which is so nice, I can just focus on work without being worried all day.  I really enjoy the pictures and videos they send me though the day, they make me smile!  My caseload is still pretty low so there are some slow days :( but I know it will pick up soon!  We went to Lincoln a few weeks ago for Melissa's graduation and the trip went well.  On the way there, Greyson did great - a little fussy by the end but not too bad, he was tired of traveling on the way home though and he cried for 1.5 hours! I felt bad for him, it's hard for them to sit in the car seat for that long!  We had a good traveling system going though - I pumped in the front seat and Melissa fed him so we could make better time.  Anyway, my grandparents met Greyson for the first time and they fell in love, of course.  (I know I have more pictures of them and will add later)

I celebrated my first Mother's Day last weekend and it was pretty special.  We went out for breakfast at my favorite place, mulched the front flower beds (by my request), went shopping with my mom and sis, and went to a wedding.  I'm so happy to be a mom to this little guy, he's just the sweetest guy I know!

Anyway, here are some pictures to catch up... I'm going to bed.
